Welcome to Fairwinds.
Fairwinds is a large, residential property situated on the outskirts of Newtownmountkennedy in Co. Wicklow.
Fairwinds provides residential services on a full-time basis for up-to three individuals with a diagnosis in the moderate to profound range of intellectual disability. Fairwinds is currently home to three adults.
Fairwinds is a spacious bungalow which sits on a relatively large site with private gardens. Fairwinds is close to all local amenities including shops, community centres, educational facilities and public transport which provides opportunity for social inclusion on a very regular basis.
Fairwinds is located close to the N11 making Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford easily accessible for all individuals.
The garden in Fairwinds boasts a wide range of play equipment and sensory items. This includes three different types of swings, a trampoline, a bark mulch pit and large grass area for activities. It is a colourful area for residents, staff members and visitors to enjoy.
Sensory Room: The Sensory room in Fairwinds was completed in early 2022 and contains a range of sensory equipment including a projector, bubble tube, soft mats, bean bags and aromatherapy diffusers. It is situated in an external cabin in the garden.
