What are Clinical Services?
Progressing Disability Services (PDS) is a national programme to reorganise children’s disability services. PDS has changed the way children (aged 0-18 years) and their families’ access and receive clinical disability services. St Catherine’s support individuals to access multi-disciplinary support services through the North Wicklow Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) which provides support for children with complex needs who live in the areas of Bray, Greystones and Newtownmountkennedy.
What type of Clinical Services do we provide?
St Catherine’s provide direct access to dedicated on-site positive behaviour support for children and adults in receipt of residential / respite care. Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a person-centred approach to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The Progressing Disability Services (PDS) Programme:
- Aims to provide a fairer pathway to clinical supports for all children with disabilities
- Promotes a commitment to providing support that promotes inclusion, choice, participation and equality of opportunity
We share the responsibility of care with our clients and their families so that all can thrive in the embrace of our community.
