Wicklow Primary Healthcare Centre

Wicklow Primary Healthcare Centre is the current location of St. Catherine’s Centre for Early Intervention.

This is a service for children from birth to 6 years provided by a team who specialise in the field of intellectual disability and development delay.

This service is provided by a multidisciplinary team which includes the following professionals:

  • Clinical Psychologist
  • Physiotherapist
  • Nurse 
  • Early Educator
  • Speech/Language Therapist
  • Occupational Therapist

Wicklow Primary Healthcare Centre is located on Drumkay Road, Wicklow. It is comprised of, a kitchen cum family room, utility room, sitting/meeting room, Communal office, Managers Office, Speech & Language Therapy/Psychology Treatment room, Physiotherapy Room, Classroom and a Group Activity room. 

What Services are available?

The services include:

  • Full Developmental Assessment
  • Home/Clinic developmental programmes for infants & young children
  • Information for parents

How can I contact the service?

Referrals can be made directly by parents, through local maternity hospitals or through the HSE Early Intervention Team for Wicklow.  The HSE Early Intervention Team can be contacted through Ms. Claire Brady at claire.brady@hse.ie
